Ratchet is the Medic of the Autobots, and has years of experience fixing his fellow comrades.  He can be seen attempting to fix Bumblebee’s voice box on his first arrival to Earth. Ratchet was present at all battles against the Decepticons, defending the city from destruction. He is however, mostly backup to the heavy hitters such as Ironhide and Bumblebee.  In Revenge of the Fallen, Ratchet oversees the revival of Optimus Prime. In Dark of the Moon, Ratchet almost dies at the hands of Soundwave. He escapes capture and helps to foil the Decepticon’s plan.
