Frenzy is Barricade’s minion. Originally a cassette tape in the animated series, he transforms into many things in the film: a cell phone, a boombox, and at one point, a crawling head. He infiltrates Air Force One by hiding aboard as a boombox, and hacks into the Government network to steal information about Sector-7 and the location of Sam Witwicky. When Barricade is fighting Bumblebee early in the film, Frenzy is sent to chase down Mikaela and Sam. Sam finds a chainsaw, and cuts off Frenzy’s head and drop kicks it over a fence. Frenzy’s head then finds its way into Mikaela’s purse and takes the form of her cellphone. When Bumblebee is taken to see the frozen remains of Megatron and the All-Spark, he reveals the location of the All-Spark to the rest of the Decepticons, who then attack. Frenzy meets his demise by his own weapons as he tries to attack a group of humans at the Hoover Dam.
