Starscream dreams of leading the Decepticons, which he does in Megatron’s absence. Upon Megatron’s revival in the first filmhe gives his leader the bad news that the humans have possession of the All-Spark. Megatron expresses his disappointment with Starscream and sends him to the city to retrieve the All-Spark cube. Starscream fails again, and Megatron has to hunt down the cube himself. In Revenge of the Fallen, Starscream is less conspicuous with an alien paint job applied to his stealthy jet mode. He leads the Decepticons to revive their true leader, Megatron. He leads the assault on the small Egyptian town where the humans are hiding. When Megatron is defeated, he flees like the coward he is. In Dark of the Moon, Starscream is back and in support of his injured leader Megatron. Starscream is present in the final battle of Chicago, and ultimately falls to his untimely doom at the hands of Bumblebee.
