One person’s trash is another’s robotic alien in the new story featurette from Transformers: Age of Extinction, which introduces audiences to the strained relationship between lead characters, Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and his daughter, Tessa (Nicole Peltz). After years of spending money on junk, Cade tries to explain that his work will not only help pay off Tessa’s college tuition, but also his dreams of becoming an inventor. After the Texan dad finds a beat-up old truck, Tessa is convinced the semi should be destroyed. But when they discover the truck is actually a Transformer, a robotic shape-shifting alien, the government comes knocking. The ensuing conflict with enemy Transformers draws Tessa into the line of fire and Cade must step up to become the one thing he’s never been to his daughter: a hero.
